today was an example of how my holidays should always be spent. In the morning Kelly & I went to Angele's house to practice the dance. I knew I had to meet joodee20 at around 1pm to go to the beach, so I figured I'd ask Gell & Kelly to come along. Angele was easily convinced, Kelly took a bit more work, but in the end, we were a good group. I decided to take the car up since Gell had to be home by 6pm, and we were off.
We drove up to Riviera, which is on the other side of Golden Bay. In all shame, I admit I'd never been there - so both me and Wengyi were acting like tourists. She is; I had no excuse. I can geniunely and surprisingly say that we have some beautiful beaches in Malta.

The old Grundig just blew up. what is it with us and things blowing up? First it was the computer, now the TV. Granted, its older than I am... but :(
Steffy was watching Oprah and suddenly she heard "a whole bunch of party crackers going off" and then there was smoke coming out of the sides. yikes. and through all this the TV kept working. huh?!
Just finished my third final. And I think I got on really well. yeep!
these were the questions I answered:
A2. Malta has just undergone nation-wide campaigns in relation to a referendum and general elections. How would you assess the way that the local mass media carried news and opinion related to these two campaigns.
B4. Communication is of its very nature dialogical. Whether interacting with peers, institutions or outside one's culture, one needs to observe, listen and adapt. Discuss ways of listening in the context of human, interpersonal and intercultural communication.
C5. Analyse the aesthetics of this video, either in a general way or from one particular aesthetic field. (they showed us the opening 3 mins of Schindler's List)
it was funny walking out to watch the Schindler's List clip during an exam. It was just what I needed to relax. It was also an exam question on a silver plate.
After the exam met Sean and Gary who desperately need haircuts, also met Wendy and had a chat. Boy I havent seen those ppl in ages.
My second wisdom tooth is trying to break through my gum and its driving me insane with pain. But on a good note, I feel as if I've finished exams. Well, for 5 days I have. Then there's Sociology II next Monday and thats when the real holidays start. woohooooo

here i am studying again. and to prove how allergic i am to studying, ive developed a rather annoying headache. cant tilt my head or it comes back. imagine the oh-so-comfortable stiff positions im studying in.
Mickey the blue eyed white kitten has disappeared. We'd always been prepared for an occasion like this because he was deaf, so it wouldnt be surprising if he got run over, coz he wouldnt hear a car coming. but somehow i dont think it was that that happened to him. i get the feeling - as do the rest of us - that someone saw him and his blue eyes which isnt exactly a common phenomenon in a cat, and nicked him, collar or no collar. a cat cant fight for his rights. im guessing the thief didnt know that blue eyed cats are also deaf. good luck to him on communicating with THAT cat. i just hope Mickey gets treated right.
Strangely enough, the day Mickey disappeared, another kitten turned up. I must point out that it's one hell of an ugly kitten. but its so friendly. it just goes up to anyone and starts purring. so i guess he's staying. He's already been christened Patches.
